Corporate Security

The Corporate Security Rapid Solution is designed to be used by Security Teams from one or multiple organizations. With the recent threats to financial institutions in New York, this tool can also be extended to include members of state/local, and/or federal law enforcement. The tools contained here were originally created and used in Iraq to facilitate force protection for coalition military, and civilian organizations involved in reconstruction efforts.

Important Features and Tips

• Use Alerts to post security alerts with important information to members of the workspace. Members can optionally modify notifications to include audible alerts by right-clicking on the Alerts tab and selecting Set Alerts...
  
  
• Use Incidents to collect information on a security event and instantly share it with other members of the workspace.
  
  
• Use Watch List to disseminate information about "persons of interest" tomembers of the workspace. "Persons of Interest" might include recently terminated employees, or information provided by local, state, or federal authorities.
  
  
• Use Policies & Procedures to create and update policy and procedural documents specific to the security function at your organization. Multiple distribution options exist. Members can download all documents placed in this tool automatically (the default setting), or manually by right-clicking the "Root Folder" and selecting Properties, Download, and then Manual Download.
  
  
• Use Sensors to allow personnel at multiple locations to view Internet-enabled surveillance devices such as cameras or air quality monitoring devices (provided they expose a browser interface).
  
  
• Use Discussion to enable the security team to converse about methods and learnings.
