The Information Security Incidents Rapid Solution provides a structured framework for IT security personnel to track, share, and resolve security incidents that occur across the virtual office environment. Important Features and Tips
- Use Information Security Incidents to capture and manage information security Incidents with security teams dispersed across the virtual office. To create a new Information Security Incident record, click Add Record - Information Security Incident. On the Information Security Incident form, most drop-down list items are derived from values entered in Drop-down List Item records. Depending on your access privileges, you may be able to add, delete, or modify the items listed in these fields. You can see existing Drop-down List Item records in the Drop-down List Items view (if available).
You can view Information Security Incident records as follows:
- Security Incidents by Date lists all Information Security Incident records sorted by date. Click the Date column header to switch between an ascending and descending sort order.
- Security Incidents by Type lists all Information Security Incident records whose status is "Open" grouped by type of incident.
- Security Incidents by Assigned To lists all Information Security Incident records whose status is "Open" grouped by the person assigned to resolving the incident.
- Security Incidents by Status lists all Information Security Incident records grouped by status.
- Security Incidents by Follow-up Date lists all Information Security Incident records whose status is "Open" grouped by their specified follow-up dates.
- Use Discussion to facilitate conversations amongst members of the information security team.
- Use P and P to manage and share policy and procedure documents amongst the information security team.
